Exploration Journey

Our Exploration Journey will lead you on adventure to one of the Komodo National Park destinations that are declared as World Heritage Site.

Known especially for the exclusive Komodo dragons in their natural habitat where you can enjoy guided trekking by one of the ranger stations.

The islands that make up the Komodo Archipelago are beautiful for nature, so be prepared for of stunning views, crystal clear water, colored corals, curious fish, giant bats, hidden caves, pearl farms,  beautiful sunsets and plenty of fun.

We guide you in this adventure on our exclusive traditional wooden boat. Relax underway on our spacious aft lounge with comfortable couches. Each trip includes a traditional Italian meal served on our dining deck facing out with the remarkable views of the Komodo Islands and the beautiful ocean. If you feel like soaking up the sun you are welcome to lay on our top deck. Beers and Wines can be purchased from our bar on board and every guest has full access to our on aboard amenities including showers, towels, and snorkeling equipment.

TIME AND DESTINATION

Exploration Journey which will lead you to one of the Komodo National Park destinations. The journey will include one of the following destinations program:

–  Rinca Island for Komodo dragon, Kelor Island and Bats Island
–  Rangko Cave and Anita Island
–  Kelor Island and Bats Island
–  Sebolong Besar Island and Sebolong Kecil Island
–  Kanawa Island and Kelor Island/Pungu Island
–  Mauwang Island and Siaba Besar Island

Rinca Island: Rinca is one of the two main islands that are home to the Komodo Dragons, visit the ranger station here to go trekking and see the dragons in the wild.

Kelor Island: This island is a great photography point and is fun if you enjoy a short hike up to the vantage point. Snorkelers will also enjoy the reefs surrounding the island.

Kalong island: Kalong is a very special island in Komodo which is the habitat for thousands of fruit bats who make a migration every sunset to travel to to the main land for fruit. The view is one of the most unique sunset spots in Komodo National Park.

Rangko Cave: Discover the hidden cave near the village of Rangko, tucked away in the hillside is a small cave that is pleasant for swimming, filled with freshwater and impressive stalactites.

Anita, Kanawa, Sebolong Besar, and Sebolong Kecil Islands: Each of these islands are great for a relaxing day of walking on a white sand beach and going for a swim over the reefs surrounding the islands.

Pungu Island: This is the pearl farm of Komodo where local people have made a living harvesting the beautiful pearls that are traded world wide. Join us as they give a tour of their process and have the opportunity to select some for purchase.

Mauwang Island: Is one of the special gathering places for Manta that divers and snorkelers love to visit as the Manta come to the various “cleaning stations” where they gather to have their skill, teeth and gills cleaned by various small fish who have a symbiotic relationship with the manta.

Siaba Besar Island: This is a pristine snorkeling site know for having many turtles as well as a fantastic selection of other color reef fish. This calm bay is a great location for snorkelers and divers alike.
